Who we are
Green Light Sheffield Family Support ("we", "us") is responsible for your personal information collected through this website (the “data controller”).
Contact us at: greenlight.sheffield@gmail.com
What information we collect and why
- Contact form. If you use the “Get in touch” form, we receive your name, email address and the message you write. We use them only to read and reply to your message. The message is sent to us by email and is not stored in this website's database.
- Technical information. Our website host may keep basic technical records (such as your IP address and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
- Please do not send sensitive information through the form (for example medical, financial, immigration or ID details). If you need to discuss something sensitive, tell us and we will arrange a suitable way to talk.
Our lawful basis
We use your details to answer your enquiry because it is in our legitimate interests (and yours) to respond to people who contact us. We do not use them for marketing and we do not send you newsletters unless you separately ask us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is handled by the service providers we need to run the website and receive email: our website hosting provider and our email provider (Google, for Gmail). They process it on our behalf. We only share it with anyone else if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and deal with your request, and normally delete them within 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask us to stop using it. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
Cookies
This website uses only one small technical cookie: lang, which remembers whether you chose English or Polish (kept for up to 1 year). It is needed to provide the language you asked for, does not track you and does not identify you. We do not use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies. Staff who log in to manage the website also receive a temporary sign-in cookie that only works on the administration pages.
Maps and links to other sites
Links to our social media pages (for example Facebook) take you to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, helpline 0303 123 1113.
